Dreams of a future, 2020, 47’’x 37’’

This quilt was awarded the first prize for France in the Moda Grunge fabrics contest and was semi-finalist at Houston, Tx.

It was also selected in the new edition of Linda Seward’s book in August 2021.

I created this quilt during the first 2020 spring lock down. In that dire period when everyone had to stay at home not knowing how long it would last, I had the urge to create a visual perspective, using light cheerful colors so as to lift my and the viewer’s spirit. The title sprang up as soon as I finished it.
